Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is an approach to communication, personal development, and psychotherapy created by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in California, United States in the 1970s.
NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming, a name that encompasses the three most influential components involved in producing human experience: neurology, language and programming.
The neurological system regulates how our bodies function, language determines how we communicate with ourselves and others and programming determines the kinds of models of the world we create.
NLP describes the dynamics between mind (neuro) and language (linguistic) and how their interplay affects our body and behaviour (programming).
In other words, learning NLP is like learning the language of your own mind.
How can NLP help me? Essentially, NLP can help anything that you do in life that requires thought, either conscious or unconscious
NLP coaching will empower you to take responsibility for your actions and your thoughts. You will gain insights into your own thinking that will lead to beliefs, behaviours and results that will lead you to a happier life.
Stop smoking, change eating habits, stop nail biting, these are all things that people are able to benefit from when they use NLP.
Coaching will enable you to have new insights into beliefs that have worked for or against you. A new understanding of yourself gives you choices that will help you become more relaxed, patient, approachable, assertive, self-assured, focused.
Be a better communicator
Do you keep doing the same thing and getting the same, unwanted results? With NLP coaching you will learn how to become a better communicator and how to build rapport with others personally and professionally.
You will learn techniques to enable you to gain multiple perspectives on a situation so that you are able to easily see things from different views. This helps in situations of misunderstandings and conflict, at home or at work.
Develop a mindset to realise your potential
We become conditioned by the beliefs that we form from an early age, which determine how we see the world. Sometimes these beliefs are helpful, sometimes they are not. eg “I am not…enough.”
NLP coaching will help you to challenge those beliefs and will provide you with techniques and exercises that you can use to reframe and reprogram those unhelpful beliefs and lead a more empowered life.
New tools and skills
Develop skills, strategies, language patterns that will help you be in control of yourself and influence others in situation that have been difficult in the past and notice the difference in yourself and the positive effect that will have on others around you.

This is what Rosie had to say about her experience – October 2017
“I recently had 2 sessions with Jess. I was feeling very happy with my life, felt like I had lots going on but I was coping with it well. Through talking with Jess I realised how I was organising these plans in my head was adding extra stress to the things I wanted to achieve. I was also close to my driving test so I decided this was an important focus for the sessions as it would help me to achieve the rest of my goals.
We used hypnotism to allow me to utilise the skills I had without letting my nerves and stress take over.
The sessions also helped me to really focus on my dream job and guess what!!! I have that too.
I have to thank Jess for this and also myself because Jess has helped me to utilise the tools I already possessed in myself but allowed to become hidden underneath worry and stress. I have learnt so much and would recommend Jess to anyone! All the best, Rosie”
